Now that Splendour In The Grass and the subsequent touring chaos that surrounds it has completely wrapped up it’s time to go through our collections and reminisce about the plethora of incredible talent we were lucky enough to witness this July.

Here at Tone Deaf we have access to some of this nation’s most talented music photographers from around the country who are our eyes on ground at concerts across Australia, from gigs hosted at the sweaty corners of local bars to the grand stages of the biggest music festivals.

Each time, they are able to demonstrate their skill in capturing the energy and spirit of the musician framed within their lens, securing those fleeting moments in images that radiate with that same rare power, sometimes under some very tough conditions.

This year we sent our shooters across Australia to capture as much Splendour magic as possible, both from intimate sideshows and the festival itself. We know you’re busy people and don’t have time to go through hundreds upon hundreds of slide so we’ve done the hard work and collated 13 of the best images from teh madness that was Splendour 2014.
