Not so long ago we took a look at the origins of some of the world’s biggest tracks that were penned in 30-minutes or less, which spat out some insane results.

This got us scratching our heads, wondering if there were any other excited trivia surrounding how certain songs were penned, which inevitably lead to us to discovering a goldmine of tunes that were written as complete jokes that shockingly grew to worldwide hits.

Naturally, we had compile a list of these songs born out of laughter, which believe or not, begins at the very least in the 1950s with public parodies that immortalised one group. Aside from that, there’s not a genre or type of artist/band that have not produced at least one track that wasn’t originally a laughable sound or lyric that transformed to something big.
