Linkin Park’s music has been flooding the airwaves in the weeks following the tragic death by suicide of lead singer Chester Bennington, and it’s clear that the momentum has just continued to build, as the band’s music is breaking all sorts of records on the U.S. charts.

As Billboard reports, not only have a massive 23 of the band’s songs charted on the latest Hot Rock Songs chart, but the band also hold the top 3 albums on the Top Rock Albums chart, and top spot on the Hard Rock Albums chart.

The circumstances are horrible beyond doubt, but at the same time it’s a clear display of just how much the band’s music means to people, and how much Bennington’s death, and life, impacted his fans.

2001 mega-hit ‘Numb’ leads the pack at #2 on the Hot Rock Songs chart, with ‘In The End’ and ‘Heavy’ at #3 and #4, and the tracks have also made an impact on the overall Billboard charts, all appearing in the Top 50 again this week.

On the rock album chart, the band’s latest LP One More Light rises back to #1 for the first time since it debuted there upon release,  with Hybrid Theory and Meteora filling up the podium.

Upon release, One More Light hit #1 for one week, giving the band as many #1 albums as Metallica, The Eagles and Bon Jovi, and only one off Led Zeppelin and U2.

Along with fans uniting behind his music once again, Chester was also remembered in a touching music-themed funeral service this week, complete with a stage for musical tributes and festival-style lanyards and wristbands.
