Now that we’ve hit the half-way point of the year, with six months of great album releases behind us, it’s time to turn our collective attention towards the records that are still waiting to be unleashed in the second half of 2014.

There’s a whole heap of albums to get excited about, from local releases by The Preatures, Sticky Fingers, and who could forget the hard-working team of King Gizzard?. To top it off, on the international front, including hype-amassing new releases from Interpol, FKA Twigs, Alt-J, and of course, Foo Fighters. One thing is for sure, the second half of the year is going to be as good, if not better, than the first.

We’ve rounded out 23 of the best new records to be dropped throughout our winter, as well as all the musical goodies set for spring and summer.
