Super producer Mark Ronson has recently enlisted Australia’s favourite musical genius of Tame Impala, Kevin Parker, to guest on his new tune ‘Daffodils’ and to no surprise, it’s fuckin’ rad.

The sonic pairing between the two masterminds is utterly seamless, Ronson producing a soaring, funk-laden dancefloor jam that harkens to the days of platforms and exploding hair, while Parker’s free-spirited dreamlike vocals take dancers far above the clouds to his psych-pop discotheque.

The collaboration extends beyond this one track, with Parker said to vocally appear on three songs and instrumentally on several more. ‘Daffodils’ will appear on Ronson’s forthcoming record Uptown Special, set for release 27th January, 2015.
