Drake is set to make his Australian live debut early next year atop the mammoth bill set for Future Music Festival 2015 and a now an unexplained poster and accompanying website has Drizzy fanatics in a frenzy, with many suspecting the rapper has further live announcements lined up for his Aussie fans.

A sharp-eyed Twitter user spotted a poster featuring Drake’s trademark owl — the logo of his record label, October’s Very own (OVO) — and the URL draketour.com.au on Melbourne’s Smith St yesterday. Upon visiting the link, users are immediately presented with a countdown clock.

The time on the clock is set to expire at 8am on Monday, 24th November 2014 and Tone Deaf has confirmed the website domain is registered to Mushroom Music Pty Ltd, the owners of the annual dance and urban music festival.

While it’s not known at this time just what the countdown is leading to, Drake has already announced a headline performance for New Zeland, with the Started from the Bottom rapper set to play Auckland’s Vector Arena on 23rd February with special guest 2 Chainz.

Drizzy will then be making his way over to Australia for FMF shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, and Brisbane, joining the likes of Swedish EDM start Avicii, big beat legends The Prodigy, South African favourites Die Antwoord, and many more.
