There’s few things lower than stealing a venue’s tip jar, so it’s for these situations that we reserve choice words like ‘mongrel’, like the mongrels who recently pinched a tip jar from Sydney’s Lord Gladstone.

On Saturday night, the Chippendale venue hosted Purple Sneakers’ 10th birthday party. It was a big night for the Purple Sneakers and the crew at The Lord Gladstone, who managed to rack up a cool $250 or so in tips.

So two absolute lowlifes decided to help themselves and stole the tips. Whilst the Lord Gladstone staff have been compensated by venue management, they’re still looking for the two men to come forward and apologise.

“If you are or know this bloke, we’re asking you to name and shame. It’s not about recouping the cash, we reimbursed the staff what they thought was in the jar ($250),” management wrote.

“It’s about this drop-kick being found out and hopefully being man enough to come apologise to our team, for what we are willing to deem as a stupid, spur of the moment lack in judgement. Do your thing internet.”

It certainly has. Footage of the incident, brilliantly narrated by a staffer at The Lord Gladstone, has been spreading like wildfire on social media. Check it out below if you want some laughs with your outrage.

Also, make sure you head on over to The Lord Gladstone’s official Facebook page if you recognise either of the two gronks or have any information that could aid in bringing them to justice.
