Music is returning to Melbourne Zoo and Sydney’s famed Taronga Zoo this summer. Making the bill for Twilight At Taronga 2017 and Melbourne Zoo Twilights 2017 are a host of big names and some bonafide local and international legends.

Taking place over 16 incredible nights between 27th January and 11th March, punters in Sydney and Melbourne will be able to catch the best live music and see the best animals Melbourne Zoo and Taronga Zoo have to offer.

This year’s lineup will Taronga Zoo hosting the likes of Peter Garrett & The Alter Egos, The Rubens, Killing Heidi, Kasey Chambers, Ball Park Music, Jet, The Jungle Giants, george, Tegan and Sara, Kurt Vile, and more.

Meanwhile, Melbourne Zoo will be hosting sets from many of the same names, as well as Australian legends the Hoodoo Gurus, the critically acclaimed Warpaint, singer-songwriter Martha Wainwright, 2-tone ska icons The Specials, and more.

Be prepared to sit back and relax in a fully-licensed, open aired amphitheatre with animals behind you and the Sydney Harbour in front of you as you watch live music, or if you’re in Melbourne you’ll be surrounded by animals and greenery nestled away in the city’s trendy inner-north.

Oh, and did we mention that when you buy a ticket you get a free day pass and ferry ride at Taronga Zoo and free access between 5.30-7.00pm to Melbourne Zoo? So hang out with a hippo, have a bev with a mate, and watch some ripper music.

With all the money going back into the zoos’ conservation works, you’ll be supporting live music and saving endangered animals. It’s win/win. Check below for the full lineups.
