King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will be celebrating the very welcome return of their beloved touring music festival, Gizzfest, later this month. It’ll be an extra big treat for punters in Melbourne, as the band have just added 17 more acts to the lineup.

King Gizz are intent on making the hometown leg a particularly grand affair, having added four more stages, each curated by a different label or booking agency. Gizz frontman Stu Mackenzie himself will even play a solo set over on the Flightless Records stage.

Meanwhile, Gizzard recently unveiled a feature-length documentary covering their last two years. Entitled KING GIZZARD’S BOOTLEG HOLIDAY FROM HELL, the two-hour long piece covers an incredible seven tours, with lots of live footage.

Last month, the band took to Instagram to announce they’ve begun work on album number 10, just weeks after confirming they’d finished recording their ninth album, which hasn’t even been officially announced yet.
