With new record AFI aka The Blood Album out in the wild as of the start of this year, AFI fans have no doubt been hoping for a proper headline tour – especially considering it’s been an entire decade since the band last rocked up for one.

The wait is over, as the band have just announced five dates across the country this September, covering all the spots you’d expect. With 10 albums and 10 EPs under their belt, they won’t be short of songs to feed us, and hopefully they’ll give plenty of time to the classics.

Better yet, they’ll be joined on the tour by UK rockers Basement, whose 2016 album Promise Everything scored the triple j Feature Album honours, and this’ll be another chance to catch them in Oz for anyone who missed out last year.

Also along for the ride are another triple j favourite (this time an Unearthed Feature Artist), introvert, who have already supported bands like Hellions and Birds of Tokyo on the way to their spot at Groovin The Moo, and all up it’s a pretty impressive lineup.

Tickets go on sale this Monday May 15th at 9am sharp via Destroy All Lines, and you can check out the full list of dates below.
