Alison Wonderland is one of the most successful electronic artists in Australia, male or female, but of course her gender has made her a target from some people throughout the course of her career, even now.

She’s most recently had an unfortunate brush with a pretty disgusting example courtesy of Ukrainian trance producer Dimitry Bondarenko aka Addictive Glance, Music Feeds reports, slamming him for his behaviour on social media.

It all started when Alison made a pretty innocuous tweet this morning, and it doesn’t seem like anything that would provoke any anger even from the most ardent sexists.

Oh wait, no, of course it was going to piss some idiot off somewhere – enter stage right Addictive Glance, who proceeded to reduce her career to two unfortunate word choices.

The producer pulled out his mighty 400-strong Twitter account to take a shot at the Aussie DJ, and was probably pretty happy with himself, but Alison brushed it off pretty easily, and fans were quick to give his Twitter account the most action it’s ever seen, burying him under a pile of jabs.

Alison has never been afraid to call people on their bullshit in the past, whether it’s owning deadmau5 on his ‘5oapbox’, or slamming other disgusting comments from supposed fans.

Now, while Addictive Glance is plugging his latest mix on Beatport, Alison Wonderland will be playing on festival stages like the awesome-looking Maroochy Music & Arts Festival on the Sunshine Coast, and the stacked Spilt Milk in Canberra.
