Tim Lambesis, former frontman of metalcore act As I Lay Dying has issued his first public apology regarding his alleged attempt to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife which saw him receive six years in prison.

Lambesis has taken to the band’s Facebook page to reflect on his actions, addressing the inexcusable nature of what occurred. Read the entire post below:

Lambesis was released on parole in December 2016, serving only two years of his sentenced time in prison.

It has also been rumored that the troubled frontman was working with the band to record a new As I Lay Dying album in September this year.
