Six exciting emerging Aussie artists are joining forces for a national trek this March as part of the mighty Mi Casa Su Casa Australian Tour 2014.
Drawing from their impressive stock of indie heavyweights, 123 Agency is presenting six of their finest to cap off what’s been a huge summer of music, all armed with infectious new tunes, to hit the road this march for a series of animated live dates across the country.
Displaying the full spectrum of 123 Agency’s landscape of musical genres – from dance-infused rock to indie-folk and pop – the Mi Casa Su Casa’s tour roster features Stillwater Giants, Tales In Space, Pierce Brothers, Yeo, Blonde On Blonde, and Gena Rose Bruce uniting to share the stage.
Hailing from Margaret River, WA, the four-piece Stillwater Giants have spent two EPs capturing the airwaves with their dreamy coastal pop and thundering rock tunes. Unique Sydney duo Tales In Space had a massive 2013, and set to deliver their explosive collage of electro-dynamo-pomo-disco rock to a wider audience in 2014 after releasing new single ‘All Messed Up’ to much fanfare.
Melbourne music maverick Yeo is the wildcard of the Mi Casa Su Casa tour. The multi-talented producer-performer may be familiar to audiences thanks to his radio hit ‘Girl‘ and his eclectic full-length release, Sell Out, (hailed among Tone Deaf’s Top 15 Best Albums Of 2013 You May Have Missed).
The Pierce Brothers are another self-fuelled success story, the siblings whipping their rootsy blues stomp around the country to sold out crowds while shifting 10,000 copies of their Blind Boys Run EP – all completely independently.
Rounding out the 123 Agency six-strong tour is Brisbane’s Blonde On Blonde, who’ve travelled their psychedelic-titled indie rock from Fortitude Valley to LA’s Viper Room, and Melbourne neo-chanteuse Gena Rose Bruce, whose songwriting sounds a bit like her “dream band with Britney Spears, Lana del Rey, and Kurt Cobain.”
