Some of Melbourne’s best independent record labels, including Milk! Records, Wondercore Island, First Love Records, and Cooking Vinyl Australia, are coming together to help put on a pop-up store at the Collarts campus on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy this Friday, 25th November.

For one evening only Collarts will host How Good Is Vinyl, giving local music lovers and vinyl fanatics a chance to shop for records and merchandise directly from some of the city’s most respected record labels. It’s kind of like those farmer’s market but for vinyl.

When you’re not flicking through the crates looking at choice cuts from the likes of Jen Cloher, Courtney Barnett, Oscar Key Sung, and more, or looking for merch in your size. you can listen to grooves from local DJ Nicola Sure, fresh from Strawberry Fields, and get involved with raffles going on on the day.

Best of all, the raffle proceeds will be be going to support local music charity Support Act, which provides help and assistance to those working in the Australian music industry and their families. You’ll also be supporting local Melbourne music. Check below for more details.
