As they tend to do, Forbes have released their list of the highest-paid musicians for 2016, with an Aussie band managing to crack the top 10.

Despite the rocky year that they’ve had with lineup changes, and the addition of Axl Rose as their frontman, AC/DC have managed to be the 7th highest-paid musicians on 2016. The second of only three bands in the top 10, AC/DC earned themselves a tidy $67.5 million this year, an even $1 million ahead of their closest competitors, The Rolling Stones.

As one may have expected considering the banner year she’s had, Taylor Swift topped the list after pocketing a cool $170 million for the year. As Forbes reports though, endorsements from reputable brands such as Diet Coke and Apple have definitely helped her earning power for the year.

The only other musos to break the $100 million mark was One Direction, who took home an even $110 million, proving that even losing a member last year hasn’t hurt their earning power.

The rest of the list sees other big name artists such as Adele, Madonna, Rihanna, Garth Brooks, Calvin Harris, and Diddy prove they’re still making an absolute boatload of cash.

Considering that AC/DC may be on what seems to be their last legs with these recent lineup changes, is this the last year we’ll see them crack the top 10? If it is, it may be a while before we see any other Aussie musicians take on the big names like AC/DC have done for so many years.
