If you’re hanging for a night out in Melbourne that leaves the ‘Despacito’ in its sleeve for the night in favour of some guitar-driven party anthems, Perseverance is where you need to be heading, as LOUD Thursdays kicks things off on December 7 with a great night of dancing to the best alt, indie and pop punk jams.

From The Killers, Paramore and Twenty One Pilots, to Blink-182, Dune Rats and The Bennies, the party fires up on Brunswick Street at 9pm and runs all the way through to 3am. And best of all? It’s free!

There are also some solid drink specials on offer, starting with beers for three-fifty, so all in all it’s going to be a great night for those of us who’ve had quite enough of the new Taylor and the old one, and want to cut loose to some bands instead.

And if you’d rather pay absolutely nothing for your drinks, you can join in on the pollhttps://www.facebook.com/events/1966871683569359/permalink/1967218673534660/ here to help the DJs pick the first song of the night, with the chance to win a $50 bar tab – our vote’s for ‘Party Machine’.

It all goes down from 9pm on Thursday December 7, so check it out here, and sign up for a VIP guest list here to jump the queues.
