You might already have a bit of an idea about how much Australia loves its beer and its music. So understandably, you can see why Australia gets pretty excited when a beloved local band decides to start brewing their own beer. It’s happened countless times before, but now Ball Park Music are the latest Aussie band to launch their own exclusive brew.

With Ball Park Music headlining next month’s Beer InCider Experience in Brisbane, the group hooked up with Green Beacon Brewing to create their own beer for the festival. Dubbed the ‘Sad Rude Future Brew’, the pale ale’s name is nod to the group’s 2011 track ‘Sad Rude Future Dude’, and will be available at next month’s festival on tap, or in tins if you prefer.

Of course, you’d probably be quite aware of all the other Aussie acts to have made their own beers in the past, heck, you might have even partaken in a drop of these specialty brews once or twice. Bodyjar released their own ‘Bodyjar Pale Ale‘ a few years back, Violent Soho brewed the ‘East Coast Crusher‘, Dune Rats created the ‘Dunies Lager‘, You Am I launched the perfectly-named ‘Brew Am I‘, and even Frenzal Rhomb got in on the action with their vegan ‘Frenzal Rhomb: The Beer‘.

Now, with the Brisbane group joining the long list of Aussie acts to have their own beer, all that’s left to do is catch up with them and down a tin or two. The beer will be exclusively available at next month’s Beer InCider Experience in Brisbane, so you’d better grab tickets soon if you want to give the ‘Sad Rude Future Brew’ a shot.

In the meantime, check out the beer’s namesake, Ball Park Music’s ‘Sad Rude Future Dude’, below.
