The owners of much-loved Melbourne record retailer Record Paradise, located at 15 Union St in Brunswick, have announced a garage sale that comes straight out of the wildest dreams of a music and/or vinyl fanatic.

One of Melbourne’s favourite record stores, Record Paradise previously occupied a storefront in St Kilda before re-locating over 33,000 records to a new Brunswick location earlier this year, filling a warehouse with pre-loved vinyl as well as new releases and reissues.

Owners Paul Allen and Renae Maxwell will be swinging open their doors from Saturday, 7th November to Sunday, 8th November for a truly massive sale that will see some 10,000 records selling at just $1 each.

There’ll also be a selection of posters, CDs, DVDs, books, and “other stuff” all going for $1. If you want more details (as if $1 records isn’t enough to get you down there) head on over to the Facebook event page.

A Melbourne institution, Record Paradise has long been serving the Melbourne music community, throwing annual celebrations for Record Store Day, which in the past have featured performances from the likes of Oh Mercy and Fraser A Gorman.
