Bernard Fanning only announced last week that he’d be heading out on tour in support of his new album Brutal Dawn, but he’s already adding more shows as they start to sell out.
Multiple shows in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane Sydney and Melbourne have sold out, prompting the Powderfinger frontman to add a second and final Adelaide show on Saturday October 7, and a third Brisbane show on Saturday October 21.
Of course, the former Powderfinger frontman wanted to get back to basics with this tour, playing multiple smaller “pub gigs” instead of bigger venues, and joined by an excellent selection of emerging female acts in Oh Pep!, Tia Gostelow, Sahara Beck and Teischa.
“We decided after consulting widely with our Fan Club Focus Groups (one Facebook post), that playing pub type shows are the go,” he said.
“It is clear that the people that like my music, also like listening to it while they are drinking. To me that sounds like a party. So if you want to have a party with me and The Black Fins, and a whole lot of ladies who will be leading the support bands on this tour later this year, have a look at the below links for all of the where, when, how much and who with.

Out now, the new album is a companion piece to his 2016 record Civil Dusk, which released late last year and hit #2 on the ARIA charts in the process. You can grab the record and tickets to the tour right here, with all the dates below.
