A Biffy Clyro Australian Tour 2014 has been announced.

The hard rocking Scottish outfit have only just departed our shores, having just played as part of the Soundwave 2014 lineup along with headline sideshows, but those starving for more of The Biff can rejoice – they’re heading back later this year!

Biffy Clyro will return to Australia this September for a national headline tour, presented by Chugg Entertainment, fulfilling the needs of those who missed out on the bands two sold out sidewaves in Sydney and Melbourne last month.

Biffy Clyro have firmly established themselves as one of the biggest bands in the UK following the amazing success of their current album Opposites – which debuted at #1 in the UK and #22 in Australia.

Featuring the blasting rock riffage of radio hits ‘Black Chandelier’, ‘Biblical’ and ‘Sounds Like Balloons’, the band just released an exclusive Australian Tour Edition of Opposites to support their recent appearance on Soundwave 2014, featuring the album along with Opposites – Live From Glasgow, demonstrating the band’s top-shelf arena rock show.

Tone Deaf’s own reviewer at Brisbane Soundwave also had excellent things to say about the Scotts’ live show.

“Opening with the enormous riff of ‘Stingin’ Belle’, the shirtless lads seem to have a set tailored to the faster and heavier tastes of the Soundwave crowd, with the frantic rock of ‘That Golden Rule’ and the schizophrenic crowd-pleaser ‘Living Is A Problem ‘Cause Everyone Dies’ following in quick succession… Judging by the size of the crowd, festival organisers may have seriously underestimated the popularity.”

Biffy Clyro’s live chops are well established internationally, having headlined the infamous Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK last year as well as collecting a slew of awards in 2013 – including Best Live Band (Kerrang Awards), Best British Band (NME Awards) and Best album for Opposites (Q Awards) to add to those won in previous years. They were also recently announced to headline the legendary T In The Park and Isle Of Wight Festivals.

Don’t miss your chance to join the ‘Mon the Biff! chant – be a part of the audience when the band return Down Under this September.
