Nirvana are one of those bands where if you play one of their songs in your shitty RSL covers band at 10pm on a Friday night, people absolutely love it, but the minute an established artist attempts to cover one of their songs, it is treated as heresy: an affront to the original song, the legacy of Nirvana, and the spirit of Kurt Cobain.

Everyone owns Nirvana songs, but nobody is allow to play with them, you see.

So no, this version of ‘Come As You Are’ by Big Scary doesn’t sound at all like Nirvana, and they changed some stuff in the song, and the singer doesn’t even have long blonde stringy hair. But it’s quite good, so try to enjoy it.
