Following the release of Melbourne band Blackchords brand new single ‘DANCE DANCE DANCE’  the band, in conjunction with Street Press Australia and themusic.com.au, are proud to announce a string of dates that will see them hit venues in TAS, VIC, NSW, QLD and SA with further dates still to be announced. With the bands sophomore album due for release in September this year, you can catch Blackchords showcasing songs from their forthcoming brand new album and a mix of favourites from the bands self- titled debut album which was released in 2009.

‘DANCE DANCE DANCE’ was released on May 21st to an awesome response from media nationally with the track being added to Triple J’s playlist and receiving spins from the Triple M Network, Austereo Network, Sea FM Network and a slew of regional radio stations around the country.

‘DANCE DANCE DANCE’ was produced by maestro and Grammy Award winner David Odlum (former guitarist with The Frames, producer- The Frames, Gemma Hayes, Luka Bloom, Josh Ritter, Tinariwen), with the assistance of Red Room’s engineer Mark Stanley during the summer of 2012 when Blackchords bunkered down in an isolated barn/improvised studio in Country Victoria for two weeks to start work on their highly anticipated brand new album.
