Legendary Brisbane rockers The Butterfly Effect have shocked fans today by announcing a 2018 reunion tour, with original frontman Clint Boge.

The group are to perform seven shows in March of 2018, with frontman Clint Boge who had previously left the band in 2012. Following the recruitment of singer Paul Gallagher in 2013, the group attempted to make new music, but after the release of the single ‘Eyes Down’, called it quits for good in August of 2016.

Taking to Facebook today, the group announced the shows, alongside a message that stated while they’re excited to take part in these shows, they’re “not rushing into anything too serious just yet”, and rather viewing these shows as an opportunity to reconnect with the fans and the music that they love.

So while there’s no promise that this reunion that will result in new music, we’ll take what we can get. Considering the amount of love The Butterfly Effect got from their devoted fans during the initial career, tickets to these shows will sell like hot cakes, so be sure not to miss out.
