It’s no secret that we love all of the bands on this lineup, making this without a doubt one of our can’t miss gigs of the year.

First up we have Melbourne electromancers friendships, who blew the country away with their debut album last year, and took out our Track of the Year award with the gripping poetry of ‘The Roof’.

We also score HABITS, who, aside from their own gripping work as one of Melbourne’s most vital emerging acts, have teamed up with the aforementioned friendships many times over to brilliant effect.

Of course, the lineup is bumped up from ‘paradise’ to ‘heaven’ by the presence of BV (formerly Black Vanilla), one of the many projects from the endlessly-impressive Marcus Whale of Collarbones and his own brilliant solo work.

And not to be discounted is the special guest appearance of Wahe, who rounds out one of the best nights of music you’ll encounter this year, all thanks to this year’s Leaps and Bounds Festival.

It all kicks off on Friday July 14 at Melbourne’s Nightcat, and tickets are on sale now. They’ll go fast, so get in quick.
