Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has been laid to rest in a private ceremony over the weekend, with around 200 friends and family members gathering in Palos Verdes, California, Billboard reports.

Former Of Mice and Men frontman Austin Carlile, who has toured with Linkin Park in the past, posted an image of the festival-style memorial items that were given out, made to look like backstage passes.

“The service today was beautiful,” Carlile srote on social media. “Thank you Linkin Park, thank you Chester. For everything.”

In addition, the service reportedly featured a full stage area for musical tributes, capping off a fitting music-themed remembrance of the influential frontman, who died of suicide at the age of 41, leaving behind his wife Talinda and six children.

“He was a bright, loving soul with an angel’s voice, and now he is pain-free singing his songs in all of our hearts,” she told fans following Chester’s passing. “May God bless us all and help us turn to one another when we are in pain. Chester would’ve wanted us to do so.”
