Yes, it would appear that Prince’s estate has finally reached a deal with streaming services. There have been recent reports in industry magazines that talks were being finalised, and now a series of New York subway advertisements from Spotify certainly seem to be hinting that Prince’s music will be coming to the service.

Billboard are reporting a possible tie-in release date with the Grammys – a Prince tribute is planned for the ceremony- and suggest deals with Apple Music and Tidal have also been reached.

The music that will be released to streaming services will be from his Warner catalogue – in other word, everything released prior to 1996.
