Another big name in the international festival scene, Creamfields, is about to return to Australia, and the timing is very interesting indeed.

Heading back for its first event in five years, its return will come alongside the first ever appearance Australian appearance of Dutch EDM monster Sensation with Deadmau5 headlining this November, as well as Ultra Music Festival’s long-awaited Aussie debut next year.

Creamfields, meanwhile, is heading to Melbourne in November just in time to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and promises the “biggest and best DJs and electronic artists”. The festival previously came to Australia from 2010-2012, bringing names like Skrillex and Deadmau5 with it, but Australia has seen an EDM festival drought in the years since with mainstay Stereosonic also being cancelled soon afterwards.

No firm date or venue have been announced for Creamfields’ return, but we can expect more details and the first lineup announcement soon, and you can register for first access to tickets at the Creamfields website.

Guess it’s time to start saving for one very busy festival season!
