If you missed out on tickets to Crowded House’s upcoming string of Sydney Opera House performances or you just can’t make it into the NSW capital for the shows, the ABC has your back.

As part of Ausmusic Month, the ABC have announced that they will be simulcasting the legendary band’s 27th November performance on ABC TV, Double J, ABC iview, and the ABC TV Facebook page.

“Ausmusic Month began at triple j more than 20 years ago and the ABC is pleased it has been able to support Australian music and highlight the creative work of so many musicians, producers and the wider industry,” Managing Director Michelle Guthrie told TV Tonight.

“In November we continue the association between ABC Radio networks and Australian music with a celebration of Ausmusic Month across all ABC platforms.” Other Ausmusic Month highlights include a broadcast of the Nick Cave documentary 20,000 Days on Earth.

Crowded House’s upcoming concerts will celebrate their ARIA Hall of Fame induction, which will take place that week, as well as 20 years since they bid farewell to the world on the steps of the Sydney Opera House.
