There seems to be a trend of online music retailers prematurely announcing records. Why, it’s happened with Beck’s new record, and it’s happened with The Smiths’s The Queen Is Dead reissue, but now, it’s happened to our very own Cut Copy.

As Stereogum reports, the Amazon France has published a listing on its website of a new release by Cut Copy, entitled Haiku From Zero, and is set to be released next month (September 22nd, to be precise).

The listing doesn’t feature much more information, sadly, with no album artwork, track titles, or anything like that, so you might need to take this one with a grain of salt. Thankfully though, these premature announces are usually correct, so in just over a month, you could have a new Cut Copy record in your hot little hands.

While you’re waiting, check out Cut Copy’s most recent single, ‘Airborne’, below. Is it the first taste of next month’s record? Well, we’re going to find out soon enough.
