UK duo Disclosure have achieved plenty in the music biz so far, having spawned an array of hit singles on their massive collab-laden debut album Settle and its 2016 follow-up Caracal, but now it seems the pair are in need of a break.

Posting a hand-written note to fans, the pair have announced that they’ll be stepping away from music for some “much needed rest”, and to concentrate on other projects like their own UK festival Wild Life, which they kicked off back in 2015 together with Rudimental.

As they point out, the brothers were only 15 and 18 when they first started the project 7 years back, and could understandably use some time away to pick up some different life experiences outside of the glitzy music-production bubble.

They’ve also hinted at some other “bits” they can’t mention, so maybe we’ll see some left-of-centre side projects from each of them. They assure us, though, that they’ll definitely be back.
