We don’t have to tell you about Pokemon Go. It’s very likely that you play it and it’s very likely that it’s pretty much all you’ve done for the past week, sacrificing work, school, friends, and family just to catch another Zubat.

Oh well, you gotta do something to pass the time until Splendour In The Grass, right? Except we all know just what Splendour punters will be doing in between sets from one of the biggest festival lineups we’ve seen in Australia.

In fact, the man who signed Splendour 2016 act DMA’s is inviting punters on a Pokemon Go walk at Splendour. Now granted Splendour doesn’t always have the greatest phone reception, but it still sounds like a good time is to be had.

Taking to a newly minted Facebook event page, Johann Ponniah, founder and director of Sydney record label I OH YOU, who count DMA’s, Violent Soho, and City Calm Down among their roster, is inviting Splendour punters to meet up after DMA’s finish their set.

“Meet at the Amphitheatre stage at 3:15pm on the Friday, watch DMA’S and then let’s go catch those little f*****s,” he writes. Who knows? You may actually end up finding a rare and highly coveted Pokemon in the Tipi Forest.

You can RSVP via the official Facebook event page here.
