Every week there’s a bunch of music-related stories, links, videos and other internet goodies that are a little on the trashy side, but for whatever reason get everyone in the office talking.

This is what the Tone Deaf Trash Can is all about: it’s our avenue for sharing the funniest, weirdest and downright tackiest music stories of the week to help you keep up to date with the best (and worst) things happening in pop culture. Don’t feel guilty – you’re allowed to enjoy it.

Kanye West Called Himself A Blowfish In New, Typically Kanye West Interview With GQ

You’re only as batshit insane as your last headline.

Seemingly on a mission to out-Kanye himself with each and every interview he goes into, this week Yeezy’s latest slice of prophetic wisdom, this time bestowed upon GQ, made his infamous leather jogging pants rant look cool, calm and collected by comparison.

In it, the mighty Yeezus goes on many a tangent, producing enough stunning one-liners to probably fuel about three or four Buzzfeed lists.

One of the greater gems came out when he used a scene from Step Brothers to describe his love for Kim Kardashian, saying their relationship is “the ultimate example of a person never losing his dinosaur” and that Kim is “just as cool as a f*cking fighter jet or dinosaur”.

But easily the latest and greatest addition to West’s currently 892-page WIP novella of Kanye Kuotes was when he compared his disposition to that of a gay fish blowfish.

I’m a — what’s the fish that blows up? I’m a blowfish. I’m not a shark, I’m a blowfish. So that perfect example about me hitting my head, it’s like a blowfish. I wasn’t coming out of my house going to a paparazzi’s house to attack them. I’m defending my family in front of my own house. I’m defending my name as someone’s screaming something negative at me. That’s a blowfish. People have me pinned as a shark or a predator in some way, and in no way am I that. I wouldn’t want to hurt anyone. I want to defend people. I want to help people.”

There are no words, only:

“Fuck Kanye West”: La Roux Lashes Out At Yeezy

We’re not sure if Elly Jackson read his GQ cover story, but this week La Roux had some not-so kind words to say about old m8 Kanye.

In a new interview with The Sunday Times, the singer fired some srs shots when asked a question about her once collaborator – you know, remember that time she sang on ‘All Of The Lights’ and no-one could hear her? Even La Roux herself?

When the interviewer asked La Roux about the chances of the pair working together again, she replied, “Fuck Kanye West! Nobody likes him.”

Seeing as Kanye’s ego is more bulletproof than a suit of diamond armour, we reckon the ‘lil blowfish won’t care about this one too much. Either that, or he’ll puff out and make La Roux the focus of his next rant.

Stay tuned.

Jack White’s Unimpressed Face At A Baseball Game Could Probably Be A Meme

No, that’s not Jack White at a Black Keys concert – that is a photo of Jack White cheering on his favourite baseball team.

A sharp-eyed cameraman spotted the angsty super fan in the crowd and changed the world as we knew it.

The Chicago Cubs must’ve seen the sulking 39-year-old as well, and cheered up the little tacker with a post-match meet up:

Now that’s a happy Jack.

Coolio Debuts New Video On Pornhub

In a sensual stroke(s) of marketing genius, this week Coolio decided to drop his new saucy track on popular porn site, PornHub.

The old school rapper unveiled his genius plans to TMZ, with the 50-year-old saying PornHub has agreed to provide all of the “talent” for his new clip ‘Take It To The Hub’, and in turn, it will be debuted on their squeaky-clean, reputable website.

TMZ has also gained footage from the Take It to the Hub shoot, which sees Coolio spraying a hose at porn stars frolicking around an expensive car. You can watch in confusion below.

This is definitely not the sign of a dying career.

Duran Duran Sue Their Own Fan Club For $42,000

This week popular 80s band Duran Duran bit the hand that fed them with the strength of a money-hungry wolf by deciding to sue their very own fan club.

It seems confusing, but as the story goes, Duran Duran took their official fan club, Worldwide Fan Clubs, to court over a breach in the contract the parties signed back in 2010, which stipulated the band would be entitled to 75 per cent of any profit generated from their membership and merchandise sales.

The breach was so big that the court settlement saw the fan club owing their beloved band approximately $40k in damages.

The company is yet to comment on the backstab, but they’re probably the saddest fans since this guy:
