Americana rock legends the Eagles will be back for more shows in 2017, despite founding member Don Henley announcing last year that the band had ended.

Henley told Rolling Stone last June: “Our fans have been wonderful. They’ve been loyal to the end, and sadly, this is the end. But what a ride. … what a crazy, wonderful ride.”

The announcement had followed the January death of Glenn Frey, the only other remaining founder of the Eagles.

Henley is currently touring Australia with a full band and support from Jewel.

Now, according to Billboard, Henley will bring a new-look Eagles to the Classic East and Classic West concerts in New York and Los Angeles, alongside fellow rock icons Fleetwood Mac.

It seems hell has frozen over once again.

Any excuse to revisit a classic:
