Elton John will be developing an animated adaptation of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
He will be teaming with the musical’s writers Tim Rice, and Andrew Lloyd Webber for the project, which was announced yesterday at CinemaCon – a theatre industry event.
This will mark the latest in a long line of collaborations between Elton John and Tim Rice, with the pair teaming up to compose music for The Lion King, Aida, The Road to El Dorado, and Despicable Me 3.
In addition to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Rice and Lloyd Webber wrote Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita.
