Falls Festival is coming up fast, and there’s a fair chance that you were one of the disappointed masses who weren’t able to secure tickets, right? Well, if you’re still keen on heading along to the Byron Bay leg of the festival, you’re in luck, with the festival releasing a whole bunch of extra tix, in addition to adding a whole bunch of awesome bands to the lineup.

After Falls Festival’s Byron Bay edition sold out within an hour of going on sale, many fans found themselves at the mercy of ticket scalpers, unsure of how else they would be able to see acts like Liam Gallagher, Run The Jewels, Fleet Foxes, and Glass Animals all in one place.

Now, Falls Festival have come to the rescue of these fans, announcing today that they’ve been approved for a capacity increase, meaning that they can now fit a whole bunch more punters into the festival grounds; an extra 2,500, to be exact!

These new tickets are set to go on sale at 9am AEDT on Thursday, November 2nd, so you better be quick to snatch these up, because they’re definitely not going to be around for very long.

Of course, Falls Festival aren’t done with the good news just yet, announcing a stack of bands who are set to join the lineup. Wafia, Manu Crooks, Alice Ivy, and Party Dozen are set to bring the goods to this year’s event, as well as the incomparable WAAX, and Adelaide’s most raucous seven-piece, West Thebarton, who will hit up the Byron Bay leg of the fest following their spot on Polish Club’s ‘Christmas In December’ tour.

Don’t forget, the extra tickets to Byron Bay’s Falls Festival go on sale 9am AEDT on Thursday, November 2nd, so make sure you set your alarm, or get into work a few minutes late to secure your spot for this year.
