The Foo Fighters are one week out from releasing their ninth studio album, Concrete And Gold, but that hasn’t stopped the band from releasing more previews from the record, having just dropped their newest song, ‘The Line’.

Released to YouTube for streaming, ‘The Line’ is the group’s newest track. Ferocious, and backed with a sense of urgency, the new track sounds somewhat reminiscent of the group’s work in the mid ’00s. Of course, it also showcases the Foo Fighters’ unmistakable talent at writing brilliant rock songs with amazing hooks. If the rest of the album sounds as good as ‘The Line’, it is definitely going to be an instant classic.

Concrete And Gold is set to drop next Friday, September 15th, and is easily going to be one of the biggest albums of the year. Featuring some of music’s biggest names, including none other than former Beatle Paul McCartney, and one of the world’s biggest pop stars, Justin Timberlake.

We’ve already received a couple of singles from the new record, including ‘Run’, and ‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood‘, but we’ve also seen the Foo Fighters perform a bunch of new album tracks in concert. The group premiered the track ‘Arrows’ in Greece recently‘Dirty Water’ in Paris‘La Dee Da’ in Iceland, much to the delight of the diehard fans in attendance. At this rate, by the time the new record comes out, there’ll be nothing new to hear, but we’re still pretty keen for it to drop regardless.

Of course, the Foo Fighters also just announced a long-awaited tour of Australia for 2018. Their first Aussie shows since a series of brilliant stadium shows in 2015, the group are set to hit up Aussie venues in January with none other than alternative-rock legends Weezer. It’s undoubtedly going to be one of the biggest tours of next year, so be sure to grab your tickets for that one when they go on sale in two weeks.
