Dave Grohl seems to be the king of the PR stunt that:

a) doesn’t seem at all like a PR stunt

b) fits in perfectly with the band’s position as elder statesmen and vocal representative of ‘rock and roll’ and all that lifestyle suggests.

c) is the type of thing that publications like us will report upon with glee, ‘cos that’s just so Dave.

Now the cheeky scamp has gone as opened a London pub named The Foo Fighters Arms, which will be open for a week and will sell exclusive Foo Fighters beer, merchandise (including a very-British teapot, plus cup and saucer sets), and will no doubt blast the Fooeys new album Concrete and Gold until the neighbours call the bloomin’ bobbies.
