With Listen Out wrapping up for another year, and that footage of the fence jumpers still fresh in our mind, it’s been revealed that 4 punters have been charged by police for their behaviour.

According to triple j’s Hack program, two men and two women have been charged with varying offences, including the biting of an officer at the Perth event.

The aforementioned footage, which features a crowd of approximately 300 storming the event and jumping the fence ended up with officers and legitimate concertgoers being pelted with projectiles such as rocks in the fracas.

Police, along with the dog squad, intervened soon after with officers issuing arrests to the crowd. In addition to the biting of an officer, police are also investigating an aggravated robbery in which a female punter was mugged and assaulted.

Festival promoters have stated they are disappointed with the crowd at this year’s event, and considering the fact this is not the first, or the second time this happened, we have to ask ourselves why this keeps happening.
