Celebrating the the 20th anniversary of their debut LP Sunburn, alt-rockers Fuel have just announced they’ll be returning to our shores for the first time in almost a decade and a half.

‘Sunburn 20th Celebration Tour’ is all kicking off in Perth in December, before heading to Adelaide, the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, before heading off across the rest of the world.

The band are of course well known for their monster hit ‘Shimmer’, but will also be bringing a hefty back-catalogue of other jams like ‘Bad Day’ and ‘Bittersweet’, as well as other songs from the band’s back catalogue, including their most recent work, 2014’s Puppet Strings.

“I’m so excited to announce that Fuel will be invading Australia once again,” frontman Brett Scallions says. “It’s been nearly 15 years since we’ve been on your shores so it’s long past due! We are looking forward to seeing everyone in the land of Oz soon.”
