Alright, everybody just calm down, there’s no need to panic. We need to just take deep breaths and relax and get down to the Newtown Social Club as fast as you can right now. Go! What are you waiting for? Work!? It’ll be there when you get back.

Gang of Youths are hot on the heels of Let Me Be Clear, their new EP, which follows on from their critically acclaimed, ARIA Award-nominated debut album The Positions, which made countless end-of-year lists.

“It’s a collection of songs tied closely to the themes and narrative of The Positions, serving as a bookend of sorts to my early 20s, and the final chapter of the part of my life I spent in love with someone fighting cancer,” said frontman David Le’aupepe.

To celebrate the release of this new six-track collection, which includes their latest single, ‘Strange Diseases’, as well as a cover of the Joni Mitchell classic ‘Both Sides Now’, the band have announced a free gig at the Newtown Social Club tonight.

So like we said, take deep breaths and drop whatever you’re doing to get down there now, because as the band wrote on Facebook, it’s “first come first served”.
