Gang Of Youths are arguably one of the most important Aussie bands going around right now. With an uncanny ability to mix a righteous combination of anger, and politics, Gang Of Youths most recent work is seeing them bring a confronting message to their fans. However, the band have recently announced a free surprise show in a mystery location, which is set to see the group belt out their songs in a more subdued, stripped-down way.

Taking to Facebook earlier today, the group posted a message stating that the band’s frontman David Le’aupepe, and guitarist Joji Malani, are set to perform a mystery acoustic show on Thursday night. “Australia, Dave and Joji are in town and will be playing a free acoustic show this Thursday night,” the post reads.

At this stage, the location of the gig isn’t known, but the group’s post encourages fans to sign up to their mailing list to gain further information about the gig’s location.

With Gang Of Youths are already set to head out on tour next month to support the release of their new record Go Farther In Lightness, this mystery show will undoubtedly serve as a teaser to show fans what to expect, albeit in a stripped-down style.
