It’s no secret that the election of U.S President Donald Trump was a pretty divisive event. In fact, countless musicians have made their feelings toward him perfectly clear, with varying degrees of audience reception. However, one recent political protest comes in the form of an animated video which happens to mash-up Donald Trump and Radiohead, and it’s absolutely genius.

The parody, entitled ‘TWEET’, has been created by a group called HATEIOHEAD, who describe themselves as a “collective of creative citizens who are saddened and embarrassed by the idiocy of our current government and its moronic leader.”

‘TWEET’ is a musical parody of Radiohead’s classic breakthrough anthem ‘Creep’, but mixed with Trump-related lyrics performed by someone who could very easily be a full-time Trump impersonator. Thom Yorke’s introspective, self-loathing lyrics have been replaced by a series of fake, satirical ramblings from the President, touching on topics as broad as immigration, his wife, his love of Twitter, and “fake news”.

It’s a wild ride that is delivered alongside a perfectly satirical animated music video that covers almost every facet of the President’s life and career that has been ripe for ridicule so far. At this stage, HATEIOHEAD hasn’t released any more parody videos, but we certainly can’t wait to see how they top this one.
