Melbourne outfit Gold Class are eager and ready to get back on stage and they’ve just announced a series of national headline shows set for Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne, finishing off with a stop at Golden Plains festival.

The critically acclaimed post-punk four-piece were recently handpicked by US garage rocker Kurt Vile to perform as special guests during his Melbourne performance with The Violators at Max Watt’s earlier this week.

It’s just one of a long list of accolades the band have enjoyed over the past 12 months, a year that saw them unveiling their debut album, It’s You, to a wave of critical acclaim and a successful national tour.

Their most recent tour included support slots for British indie icons The Fall and PVT at the band’s tenth anniversary show, as well as a national tour with Thurston Moore, frontman for alternative legends Sonic Youth).
