If you had any plans for Saturday night, well you’d best cancel them and stay in, because Hanson are hosting Rage, and you know you this is going to be must-see TV

The famously-youthful pop trio from Tulsa, Oklahoma will be taking over your TV screens on Saturday night as they host the legendary music program (which recently turned 30), playing some of their favourite tunes until the wee hours of the morning.

In addition to probably playing hits such as ‘MMMBop’, ‘Where’s The Love’, and that recent song that made with their kids in the film clip, it looks like they’ve got a pretty sweet list of tunes in the works. The trio mention in their promo clip that they’re set to pick songs by Aloe Blacc, Blondie, and Alanis Morrisette, while the Rage website also lists tracks by artists such as Aerosmith, Beach House, Foo Fighters, Ace Of Base, and Taylor Swift.

But just in case you thought they were sticking with the more pop side of things, they’re also planning to chuck in some hits by acts such as Depeche Mode, …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, and Björk, proving that it’s taken them 20 years to go from the Middle Of Nowhere to slightly left of centre with their picks.

So in case you missed Hanson’s recent Aussie tour and want to get an idea of what you missed, or you’re like us and aren’t afraid to admit your guilty pleasures, be sure to tune into Rage on Saturday night for a night of pretty awesome tunes.
