Move over Bieber, because you’re about to be shown how it’s done by the legends themselves, the incomparable Hanson, who have just announced what is probably the biggest tour of the year.

As reported by NME, the trio of pop icons are about to launch into a world tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary as a group – yes, they’ve been going strong for that long, it seems. A bit at odds with the fresh-faced image most of us no doubt remember, they’re kicking it off at a beer festival in their hometown of Tulsa, and will then be launching into a tour of the globe, they say.

“Making music together for 25 years is a milestone that we had to acknowledge, and what better way to do it than with an anniversary tour,” Taylor says, and Isaac adds “This year is not only about the two decades of music, it’s about celebrating the incredible community of fans who have been with us, singing along year after year.”

Zac, for his part, must have been too overwhelmed by emotion to comment.

There are no Australian dates on the cards as of yet, but with Bieber having such a successful run on his current tour, surely they’ll see the light and bring ‘Mmmbop’ back to our shores. It’s been far too long.
