Pointing to a fresh feeling of inspiration after their recent work together with hip hop crew One Day, Adit and Solo are back in action on their own two-man project, announcing a new Horrorshow record set for release next month.

Titled Bardo State as a reference to the Tibetan Book of the Dead, Braggadocio rap this ain’t, with the duo tackling themes of “death, love and existence” through the lens of newfound maturity and the personal change that comes with it.

Okay, so they admit it’s still going to be about “wilin’ out on lost nights, loud music, laughing and talking shit”, but they’re also beginning to encounter the new feelings you encounter the morning after when you’re on the older side of 25 and the serious things in life begin to take hold.

As expected, there are some sweet collaborations on the way, with tracks featuring The Jezabels’ Hayley Mary, Kai of Jackie Onassis, Omar Musa, Freddie Crabs of Sticky Fingers, Turquoise Prince, and UK act Dan Caplen.

It’ll be out February 24 through Elefant Traks/Inertia and is up for preorder now, but for now check out the pretty slick spoken-word teaser below.
