Jordie Lane returns from the US this June/July for an intimate run of solo shows.

Kicking off in Brisbane on June 27th, Jordie will play five shows in five days, traveling down the East Coast before finishing in Adelaide on July 1st.

This tour follows a hectic few months in North America, which have included showcasing at Canadian Music Week, traversing the United States by caravan, and recording with Grammy Award winning producer Tom Biller (Kayne West, Beck, Fiona Apple) and renowned drummer/producer Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel).

For fans outside of Victoria, these are the first headline concerts since Jordie took his band on the road last August, releasing his critically acclaimed album ‘Blood Thinner’.

These shows will be stripped back, showcasing Lane’s unique ability to capture an audience with both his songs and the often-hilarious stories that have inspired them.

It will also be an opportunity to hear new tracks from Jordie’s forthcoming third album, due for release early 2013.

For those in Victoria, you can catch Jordie starring as Gram Parsons in the Australian premier of the theatrical concert ‘Grievous Angel: The Legend of Gram Parsons’. It kicks off on July 20th at the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne.
