We’re only halfway through the year and already Justin Bieber has found plenty of ways to tick everyone off, whether he’s dancing over the grave of the late Kurt Cobain or dissing Prince hours after his death.

Now, Bieber is redesigning your favourite band shirts and charging exorbitant prices for them. As Consequence of Sound reports, Bieber’s latest line of tour merch features, well, a Marilyn Manson shirt.

The sleeveless tee features a very prominent image of Mechanical Animals-era Manson sandwiched between the words ‘Marilyn Manson’. If you didn’t know any better, you’d swear it was a Marilyn Manson shirt.

The writing on the back reads “Bigger Than Satan … Bieber”. This utterly confounding and frankly stupid shirt sells for US$195 (AUD$260), which is even more of an outrage once you consider you can get the same Manson shirt at Hot Topic for $17.

Apparently, adding the word ‘Bieber’ to a T-shirt jacks up the price by $178. We’ll just let you reflect on that for a moment and see if it made you as upset as it made us.

What’s more, according to Consequence of Sound, Manson himself actually signed off on the shirt, which we guess makes sense if you’re making a decent royalty on a $200 shirt being sold at luxury department store Barneys.
