The complete list of nominations for the 2016 ARIA Awards has arrived and it’s well and truly Flume’s year. The golden boy of Aussie (and let’s face it, international) EDM, has managed to nab 11 nominations, and he’s already won three.

The ARIA Fine Art & Artisan Awards were presented this morning, with Flume picking up Producer of the Year, Engineer of the Year, and Best Cover Art. He’s also scored nominations in the categories of Album of the Year and Best Male Artist, amongst others.

Just to put the young producer’s success in context, 11 nominations means he’s already scored as many ARIA Award noms as the legendary INXS did over their entire career and more than Jet.

Josh Pyke and Flight Facilities also managed to receive gongs this morning. Funnily enough, Flight Facilities scored an award for Best Classical Album for their acclaimed live performance with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Meanwhile, The Avalanches have managed to pick up six nominations, with the same number for Sia and Illy, and rockers Violent Soho and King Gizzard have cleaned up with five nominations each, alongside electronic trio RÜFÜS, who are also on five.
