Kings of Leon are on the campaign trail promoting their latest album, WALLS, and recently stopped by the studios of BBC Radio 1 as guests on their Live Lounge program.

Live Lounge is perhaps best known for its own spin on Like A Version, where they get the guest artists to cover contemporary pop hits. KOL previously laid down a rendition of Robyn’s ‘Dancing On My Own’.

As Consequence of Sound reports, the band’s most recent visit saw them covering the Selena Gomez number ‘Hands to Myself’. They certainly made it their own, turning it into a classic moody KOL ballad.

Meanwhile, the band’s latest album has been touted as a welcome, if slightly too safe, return to form for the band, who admitted they’d lost focus on their creative direction on preceding albums.
